The e-shop www.celinedaoust.com belongs to the company Principe Lola sprl. Registered and head office address is 158, rue Franz Merjay — 1050 Brussels in Belgium. Company registered in Brussels VAT number BE.0834.529.008 Access to sales via the E-shop is exclusively reserved for clients. A client is regarded as any consumer who is a natural person and who is acquiring the Items for his own exclusively personal use.

2. PRODUCTS  & AVAILABILITY

All products shown on www.celinedaoust.com are subject to acceptance and availability.
Due to the nature of some of our products, they may not be available at all time.

Regarding the products with stones of color, please note that there could be a difference between the online picture and the actual product. This difference can be the result of computer screen settings or the lighting during the shooting of the collection. 

Our website is updated regularly to ensure that our stock quantities are accurate. However due to the uniqueness of some of our products,  shortage may occur. You will be informed about the availability of the items in the product description. In case an order is placed for a product, which is no longer available, we shall contact you within 72 hours to inform you of the shortage.

Principe Lola sprl reserves the right to withdraw any product from the website at any time and remove or edit any material or content of the website without prior notice and without any liability for any damage occurring from the above actions.

3. PRICE 

The price of the Items is shown on the website in euros (€) and is deemed to include VAT (but no delivery charges). The final cost of your order will include the delivery charges and will be displayed at the end of the check out process. 

Please note that customs fees are calculated on our website and will therefore be displayed on the final amount of your order. The calculation of customs fees are applicable for the following countries: Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Canada, Saint Barthélemy, United States, Virgin Islands, Australia.

For all others countries, these fees are not included in the final amount and depend on the country you’re in; each having their own customs regulations. Please refer to the customs regulation applicable in your country. 

Principe Lola sprl reserves the right to change the price of products offered on the e-shop at any time and without prior notice. Items are invoiced at the prices shown on the E-shop on the date your order is confirmed, subject to the availability of the Items ordered at that precise time. Principe Lola sprl checks to ensure that all prices shown on the E-shop are accurate. If cannot, however, give any guarantee that no errors have occurred. Should an error in the price of an article occur, Principe Lola sprl will give the client the option of reconfirming the purchase of the Item at the correct price or cancelling the order. If Principe Lola sprl is unable to contact the client, the order will be considered cancelled.

4. METHODS OF PAYMENT

Please note that the validation of the order implies the obligation for the customer to pay the indicated price. 

Payment can be made by Visa, Master Card and any other methods that may be advertised on the site. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

All orders will be dealt with as soon as they have been validated. The transaction will only be debited against the client’s credit card when the card details have been verified and the company that issued the credit card used by the client has authorized the debit. Once Principe Lola sprl has confirmed that the item is available, the order is ready for shipment. 

When the total amount of the order is above 10.000€, the client will be invited to pay the cost of his order by banking transfer. If certain articles ordered are not available, only the price of those that are available and that have been shipped, will be debited.

Transfer of ownership of the good purchased online is confirmed once full payment is validated. Transfer of risk and loss or damage of the purchased good is carried out from the delivery of the Item.

5. Orders/Purchase

By placing an order you certify that you are an adult according to the laws of your country or state of residence. By placing an order to this website the customer states that he has read and understood all the content of these Terms and Conditions.

We will confirm receipt of your order by sending you an e-mail to the email address you have registered with us through our website. If you don’t receive an email confirmation after your purchase; please contact care@celinedaoust.com. Acceptance of your order will occur when and only when we send you an email confirming that we have dispatched the items in your order. The client should check the contents of the order confirmation as soon as possible and let Principe Lola sprl know immediately if there are any errors or omissions. Principe Lola sprl may ask the client to provide additional information by filling up a form. This document must be sent by email with a photocopy of the customer ‘s ID and a copy of the type of payment used for the order. Every effort has been made to ensure that the descriptions, images and specifications of each product are accurate. However, as the actual colours you see will depend of your computer, we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the goods delivered. We may from time to time vary dimensions, specifications of goods displayed on the website without prior notice. We may not be able to accept your order due to the following reasons : a. the product you have ordered is out of stock. b. there is an error in the product pricing or description. c. failure to meet eligibility to order criteria set out in these Terms & Conditions. In any case of the above cases we will notify you by email within 72 hours of receiving your order.

6. DELIVERY & SHIPPING

Free worldwide delivery on orders over 1,500.00€.

EU Delivery Promise 1-3 working days after confirmation 25€.
Rest of the world delivery promise after confirmation 2 – 7 working days (depending on custom delay) 50€. 

However, delivery times can depend on the Items ordered and on the country in which the order was placed. You will be advised of the delivery time when you place the order. The delay of the delivery is less than 15 days. Principe Lola sprl cannot be responsible for unforeseeable delays in delivery.

The final costs include customs fees. This means you will not pay any fee related to customs before receiving your shipment.
All costs are included in the final amount of your purchase for the following countries: Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Canada, Saint Barthélemy, United States, Virgin Islands, Australia.

All countries that are not listed above will have to pay custom fees related to their order. In that case, please refer to the custom regulations of your country for any further information.

Please bear in mind that the shipping address will be the one determining if customs fees are included within the final amount of your purchase or not.

In case of return of the piece the shipping return will be deducted from reimbursement at the standard shipping rate depending on destination (25€ for Europe – 50€ for rest of the world).

Shipping to USA : For international orders shipped to customers in the US, please be aware that US Customs may ask for your IRS, EIN or SSN number before enabling delivery to your address.

All orders are delivered by an international delivery service company.   During delivery the items are insured to Principe Lola sprl. Please note that we cannot make deliveries to P.O. boxes and Cedex number. You will receive a confirmation email from our website as soon as you have placed your order. You will be notified by email when your order will be dispatched with tracking information for your package. For security reasons, Items purchased on the E-shop will be delivered in plain packaging to the registered address, and the signature of an adult aged 18 year-old or above will be required upon delivery. Please note all items must be signed for. Please ensure that you are able to sign for the package.

Orders are shipped tuesday to friday, except on public and bank holidays. The merchandise must be delivered in the presence of a person who is legally of age. Two (2) attempts will be made to deliver the goods per shipment. Should the parcel be refused, or after (2) attempts to deliver it, the parcel will be returned to Principe Lola sprl. In case of unavailability, The Client can then contact the transportation company to reschedule the delivery. When the goods are delivered, you should check that the articles are in order and indicate any reserves you may have in writing, on the delivery note if possible. Please then sign it and note any anomalies observed (parcel opened, damaged, Item damaged, missing etc). You should then contact the customer consultants by email: care@celinedaoust.com.

If the articles do not comply with your order or if they are not to your satisfaction, you may return them and ask for an exchange or for a refund within the conditions described here below.

If Principe Lola sprl is unable to deliver Items that have been ordered because these have become suddenly unavailable, even temporarily, it will immediately advise the client of this and in any case within 30 (thirty) days at the latest by electronic mail. Any charges already paid by the client will be reimbursed as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days.

7. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

For all international orders, please note that customs fees are included within the final amount of your purchase. Except from some countries, you will not have to pay any additional fees before receiving your parcel (to see if your country is eligible for the tax-included final amount, see above 6. Delivery & Shipping).

For all countries for which tax fees are not included in the final amount, we are unable to pre-calculate this fee for you as the cost is determined by each country’s customs. Please refer to your country’s customs regulations.

Principe Lola sprl are not responsible for any delays caused by any customs clearance procedures in the country of destination. If you are having trouble placing your order or want to know time frame for delivery please email care@celinedaoust.com. We will do everything we can to help you.

8. CANCELLING AN ORDER

If you wish to cancel your order please contact us by phone on the numbers shown on your order invoice or by email at care@celinedaoust.com stating your order number.

Cancellation must be received within 24 hours of ordering. If you notify us for a cancellation later than 24 hours after placing the order, we will do our best to accept your request provided we haven’t processed or dispatched your order yet. If we accept your cancellation request, we will notify you by email to the email you have registered with us.

As soon as we accept your cancellation request, the customer will be refunded to the payment method he/she provided our website. Refunds may take a few days to complete, according to the policies set out by our payment-processing partner.

9. RETURNS & EXCHANGE

We want our client to be entirely happy with the jewelry and hope you are satisfied with your purchase. If for some reason you are not, all goods from online order may be returned for an exchange or refund  within 14 days from the date you received your order. Please kindly contact us within these 14 days at care@celinedaoust.com.

Please kindly note that we accept only one (1) exchange. Once you have received another item following an exchange, the order will be deemed complete and final. No other exchange, return or refund will be accepted.

Please make sure your items are returned new, unused including their original Celine Daoust packaging with the safety tag still attached and the certificate of authenticity. All our items come with a Celine Daoust tag attached. A sale will be deemed final if this seal has been broken, or if the item is used or incomplete.

Upon return of an item our expert will screen all returns before granting a refund or an exchange. Items that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer without any refund given.

Please note that refunds can take up to 30 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers. Please contact our customer care team by emailing care@celinedaoust.com for further questions.

We will refund the cost of the item(s) less our delivery charges once the goods are returned. The shipping fees for the return are at your cost. We do not take the shipping fees at our expenses.

Please note : you will be responsible for the item(s) until they reach us and we suggest you use a secure delivery service which requires a signature for proof of receipt. You will have to provide your proof of purchase from Principe lola sprl in order to receive a refund.

In case of defective or wrongly delivered items at the fault of Celine Daoust, exchange or refund of payment shall be issued, upon request, unless the defect or the wrong delivery has taken place or is attributed to the postal carrier’s negligence. If an order is received damaged, please do not accept the delivery. If you realize that an order is damaged after opening the parcel, please photograph the damaged item immediately and notify us as soon as possible. Please note that we insure all orders against damage during transit. No reclamation will be accepted after 3 working days.

Please note, that international custom charges, duties and sales tax are non-refundable for shipments outside the European community (eu). When a ring is re-adjusted on a specific size on demand, it becomes custom made and as all custom-made order it is not returnable and not refundable.

10. GUARANTEE & SERVICES

We offer a one-year limited guarantee for each piece of jewelry bought at Celine Daoust Stores and on our Celine Daoust e-shop. Each guarantee is dated from the date of your purchase, and noted on your «Certificate of Authenticity», given at the time of the purchase. This certificate is to keep preciously with your piece of jewelry as it constitutes the proof of the jewel guarantee. The client is responsible of its certificate, and it is to the client to require the certificate if the latter was not given at the time of the purchase.

The guarantee offers also one-year maintenance of the jewel, as cleaning and settings. Any jewel presenting a production default recognized by our technical service is to be repaired or replaced, under guarantee. Any other default caused by an abnormal use (fall, torn jewel, sea water, etc.), will not be covered by the guarantee, but will be repaired when possible. We reserve the right to deny unreasonable repair requests. For returning a repair or any inquiry please email care@celinedaoust.com.

 11. ERRORS, INACCURACIES

Principe Lola sprl constantly updates the information published on the website. It is impossible, however, to guarantee that the Website is always error-free. The Website may contain data input errors, inaccuracies or omissions, some of which relate to the price and the availability of an Item and the description of the Item itself. Principe Lola sprl reserves the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions, even after an order has been shipped, and equally reserves the right to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

12. LAW APPLICABLE & COMPETENT COURT

These Terms & Conditions are subject to Belgian law. Should any problem arise when ordering or taking delivery of Celine Daoust items, before taking legal action the client has the opportunity of seeking an amicable solution, particularly with the assistance of a consumer association or any other advice of his choosing. Any dispute that may arise from the interpretation or execution of these Terms & Conditions or from the consequences of same will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Brussels courts.

13. PRIVACY POLICY

While visiting our website www.celinedaoust.com, you may be asked to register personal information. Our company, Principe Lola sprl with registered office 158 rue Franz Merjay 1050 Brussels – Belgium only collects personal information that are knowingly and voluntarily provided by you. This privacy policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give when you use this website. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties that we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen. You may request details of personal information, which we hold about you under the data protection Act 1998. A small fee may be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write or email us.

The online shop www.celinedaoust.com is operated according to Belgian legislation and it stores your personal data with safety for as long as you are registered with www.celinedaoust.com.

14. COOKIES

www.celinedaoust.com uses session cookies in order to recognize that you enter our site, so that you will not be asked to provide your password when loading a new page from our site. Upon your first visit to our website, you may have noticed our banner alerting you to the use of cookies by our website. In compliance with the 2011 EU Cookie Law, our website operates on an “Implied Consent” basis. This means that we will assume that you have opted-in for our website to deploy cookies until you choose to desactivate them within your browser settings or via the instructions below. Principe Lola sprl is the owner of www.celinedaoust.com. All site content including Celine Daoust logo, photographs and designs (except for third party links) are the property of Principe Lola sprl. Copying and use of the above listed materials to any other server, location or support for publication, reproduction or distribution is expressly prohibited without permission.

This site is for personal non-commercial use only. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, commercially exploit, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any content, software, products, or services contained within this site. You may not use this site, or any of its content, to further any commercial purpose, including any advertising or advertising revenue generation activity on your own Site.

16. RE-SIZING & MEASURING YOUR FINGER

All of our rings are standard Europe-size. If you don’t know your Europe size, we highly suggest getting sized by a local jeweler. You can also reference the ring size link on our homepage to see the conversions.

We cannot be responsible for determining your ring size. Choosing the correct ring size is the responsibility of the customer, as people differ in the way in which they prefer their rings to fit: some customers wear them loosely, while others like to wear them tighter.

Please note that resizing a ring may not always be possible. We will contact you as soon as possible by mail concerning the possibility of re-sizing and the availability of the ring as well as the delay that can apply for the delivery. Your ring should fit your finger comfortably, snug enough so that it will not fall off, but loose enough to slide over your joint.

Finger size changes depending on the time of the day and the weather. For the best results measure your finger size : At the end of the day and when your fingers are warm (fingers are smaller in the early morning and when cold).

Avoid using string of paper to measure ring size as these materials can stretch or twist, yielding an inaccurate measurement.
