RESPONSIBLE
CRAFTMANSHIP

From inception to stone setting, Celine works side by side with her trusted indian craftsmen, using their ancestral craftsmanship to ensure the highest quality and attention to detail. Every piece is handcrafted in 14k gold, set with carefully selected ethically sourced gemstones.

Our rough diamonds come from DTC ( The Diamond Trading Company ) owned by De Beers https://www.dtc.com/. They have mines in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Canada. They adhere to the highest extraction practices, based on ethical principles.

All DTC diamonds are sourced in accordance with the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) Due Diligence Guidance. They are also fully compliant with the Kimberley Process, established in 2003 to eradicate the trade of conflict diamonds.

Diamonds are then carefully graded according to their quality and the size of the rough stones to be cut. This is where the precise origin of the mine from which a diamond comes gets mixed up, especially for the smaller ones. The small round brilliant cut diamonds used in our settings are color H/I and clarity VS1.

Our workshops are also part of the Responsible Jewelry Council, and every aspect addressed by this organization is very important to us.

We are assuring responsible sourcing and manufacturing practices, along with fair employment, health, and safety standards.

We are environmentally conscious. Our production practices are careful at maximizing usage of recycled and reused raw materials and resources to help reduce the overall impact on our planet.
